Migrating to Spider Monkey
We’ve decided to switch from v8 and java to Spider Monkey for JavaScript.
A couple of main reasons
- Full static binaries - no java dependancy
- Easier to build since fewer dependencies
- Spider Monkey 1.8.1 will be very fast (that includes trace monkey)
Hopefully we’ll be able to relase it in a couple of weeks.
